In Hand III Submission is Open - May 8,2026 

 

The Art School at Old Church invites you to apply to our annual cup show In Hand III, a juried exhibition that explores the drinking vessel and the various approaches to the form. The exhibition will be in person in The Mikhail Zakin Gallery at The Art School at Old Church in Demarest, NJ. ​​ Open to artists living in the United Stated 18 years or older. This year's juror will be Alison Palmer.

About the juror - Alison Palmer graduated with high distinction from the California College of Arts and Crafts with a BFA in ceramics. Following a successful 25-year career in wholesale craft, she transitioned her focus to creating one-of-a-kind pieces using her wood and soda kilns. Today, Alison hosts professional ceramic workshops and the annual Clayway tour.
