Art in Reach – The Art School's Outreach Program

At The Art School, we believe that everyone can benefit from the opportunity to experience the arts in a meaningful way. The arts not only help keep a community vibrant and alive, but by facilitating students' individual means of expression, the arts can encourage creativity and improve their quality of life.

Through our Art in Reach program, we form partnerships with schools, groups, and special needs populations to provide in-school and after-school residencies, arts enrichment workshops and activities, and field trips to our galleries. Through these efforts, we help expand the awareness of and appreciation for visual arts in our community.

The Art School at Old Church currently provides:

  • After-School Programs

  • Gallery Tours for students, senior groups, and special needs

  • Special Needs Programs (at The Art School or in your community)

  • Merit Badges Programs for the Boy & Girl Scouts of America

  • Art Teachers Workshops

  • Birthday Parties
