Taught by Jill Cliffer Baratta, Art for the Heart is a free on-line workshop is designed, through art, to provide solace, distraction, redirection, support, and expression as a relief from the worries of the day. Materials and prompts will be simple and accessible. Not a place for analysis, but designed for those of all ages (7 through adult) feeling stresses that words alone cannot necessarily help. A therapeutic awareness is part of the intent, using shape, color and symbolism to express current feelings. Artistic training, drawing ability, and experience are not needed.
