Membership fee: The non-refundable membership is due each calendar year and is valid through December 31. This annual fee, which helps sustain the school, is required to participate in our regular semester courses, but is not required for workshops or cultural arts classes. The membership fee is not pro-rated.

Membership fees are:
Family - $50
Adult - $40 (includes teens enrolled in adult classes)
Young Artist (up to 14) - $20
Teen (enrolled in teen classes only) - $20

Payment of fees: Fees are paid in full at the time of registration. Tuition and material fees are not prorated. Payment scheduling is available; call for more information. Please consider helping us keep costs down by paying with a personal check, made payable to The Art School at Old Church.

We are approved by the New Jersey Department of Education as a Professional Development Provider (PDP). All classes may be taken for PDP credits.

Gift Certificates

Searching for the perfect present for friends or loved ones? Art School gift certificates are just the thing for creative and thoughtful (or last-minute) gifts! Treat someone special to the class of their choice, take a workshop together, or help your favorite Art School student with the cost of their tuition. Gift certificates are available in any denomination and/or towards any class. Call us at 201-767-7160 or stop by for more info!

We accept registration by mail, fax, in person or by phone; please click on the 'Classes & Workshops' tab (above left) for specific registration dates. Registration continues until classes fill or until they begin. Adult classes are open to students at least 15 years old and require adult membership.

PLEASE NOTE: Pregnant women should always consult a doctor before participating in art classes.

How Do I Choose the Right Course?

To assist you in your selection, level information is provided with each course description. If you are unsure of your skill level, please contact Administrative Director Karen Shalom at 201.767.7160 or karen@tasoc.org.

Beginner - Basic skill level with limited or no experience. Classes introduce and develop new skills and techniques.
