Our Thrift Shop
Our Thrift Shop is a community-based thrift store sponsored by the Art School at Old Church. The store provides affordable quality clothing, accessories, housewares, books, and more. Proceeds from the store benefit the Art School at Old Church.
The shop is run by an active group of dedicated volunteers. In addition to working shifts at the retail shop, volunteers can provide assistance from their own homes. Helpers are always needed to iron clothes and other items, polish silver, measure fabric, and fill toy bags, among other jobs. The shop seeks volunteers who can commit at least three and a half hours a week to a list of various tasks.
The thrift shop accepts donations of gently-used items. For further information on volunteering at the shop or to make a tax-deductible donation, please contact our thrift shop manager, Vivien Woodford, at 201-594-0144.
Our Thrift Shop is located at 245 Old Hook Road in Westwood, NJ.

Art Education Outreach
Everyone can benefit from the opportunity to experience the arts in a meaningful way. We believe that the arts can keep a community vibrant and alive. By facilitating students' creative means of expression, the arts can improve their quality of life, encourage creativity, and beautify the neighborhood. We believe in bringing arts awareness and appreciation to you and your community.
About our Outreach Program
We offer a variety of exciting art classes tailored to meet the cognitive and physical needs of individuals of all ages and skill levels. Our outreach classes are taught by professional artists who are also members of our esteemed faculty. Generally, our classes for children 7 to 13 years old are an hour and a half long; sessions for 14-year-olds through senior-age adults can run for up to two hours.
Past outreach participants include:
Bergen Family Center
Children’s Aid & Family Services
Concierge Club
Cub Scout Pack 350
Demarest Public Schools
